In The Room (ITR) is a premium, industry-led performing arts experience that bridges the gap between youth performance and the professional theatre industry.
ITR places young performers inside the professional process - combining West End led training, in the room collaboration, and a fully produced main-stage performance in one carefully curated day.
This is designed to be an opportunity to learn from, rehearse with, and perform alongside West End professionals on a major stage.

INDUSTRY WORKSHOPS
All participating students take part in two West End led workshops, learning material directly from a current or past West End production.
These sessions focus on:

- Performance quality and storytelling
- Industry-standard expectationsThese workshops are designed for development and exposure.

SCHOOL CHOSEN PERFORMANCE
Schools also bring one additional pre-rehearsed piece of their own choosing, which they perform independently in the evening show.
This ensures each school:
Retains full creative identity
Showcases their own work
Feels represented authentically while still being part of a professionally curated event. -

Schools are provided with one carefully selected song in advance. The piece is fully pre-rehearsed by the school in their own time and in their own style On the day, students work in the room with a handpicked West End professional together, the piece is shaped, elevated, and refined. The performance culminates in a live main-stage collaboration with the professional performing alongside the students. This process focuses on intention, connection, and professional presence.
